A lot of people have contacted us requesting plants. These are either to be used for companion planting or for home-brew insecticide or just to be able to enjoy their magnificent blooms. We are happy to supply.

We always over compensate on how many plants we propagate for our plant breeding program so usually supply isn’t an issue.

Pyrethrum plants are good for companion planting because they stop the spread of sap sucking insects around your garden.
If your plants suffer from Thrips you should read here about a study observing how this insect dies after ingesting pyrethrum plants.
If your plants suffer from Aphids you should read here about how the pyrethrum plant is known to excrete the aphid alarm pheromone (E)-β-farnesene which will both warn aphids away from the area as well as attract predators such as ladybirds.

Smaller plants of less than a year (as in the photo above) are available for $15 in PB2 black plastic bags.
Larger plants of more than a year are available for $20 in a teracotta coloured plastic pot.

For more information or to place an order please contact us.

Please note that plants will be trimmed back to fit inside courier boxes so will not have flowers on them when delivered.
